HTC One Max Leaked Pictures – Fingerprint Scanner, Android 4.3, 6-inch 1080p Display

The HTC One Max phablet again made an appearance in a few leaked live photos where it was wearing the Verizon tag, and the sources did claim that there was a removable back cover in place along with a fingerprint sensor on the back. The rest of the rumors are still the same, where one is expecting a Snapdragon 800 SoC processor, a 6-inch display with the 1080p resolution and the same HTC One camera with the 4-megapixel Ultrapixel technology lens.

The phone is expected to be made official in the coming week or two.

More clearer photos of the HTC One Max have come out, and it’s again through Weibo, and it clearly shows the Fingerprint Scanner and a lot more things, with the specifications too. So, just like what was being expected and leaked before, is what you are actually going to see in the One Max. The HTC One Max 8088 is going to come with a 5.9 inch screen with the 1980 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, and there would be a 1.7 GHz processor (we haven’t been able to see the chipset, whether a Snapdragon S4 Pro or a Snapdragon 800, as we had found both in the different rumors), 2GB RAM and a 5-megapixel camera which could be the ultrapixel one.
16GB of onboard storage is what is being shown, and the battery capacity is 3300 mAh. And as expected, it would be the new Android 4.3 KitKat version that the device would come with. The pricing is expected to be around $800, and the expected launch is around October 2013, and we might have to wait for the Android KitKat based Nexus device for the One Max to become official.
The HTC One Max is being rumored a lot, but the latest leaks show a very interesting feature which was introduced by Apple in the iPhone 5S – the Fingerprint scanner. The scanner though doesn’t take it’s place on the front button area but it lies below the camera lens on the rear side with a squarish design which might have just the single purpose.

The One Max is codenamed the HTC 8088 and it is expected to come with a 5.9 inch full HD display, and as the leaked screenshots suggest, there would be the GSM and LTE support in it. The internal powering is expected to be 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM and the camera is the UltraPixel one, which was introduced in the company’s flagship HTC One smartphone earlier this year.
The screenshots even suggest that we might be seeing the new HTC Sense UI in the Android 4.3 KitKat version that was recently announced by Google, and we might see that officially along with the announcement of the Nexus 5 device.
It won’t be a long wait before we get to see this device officially announced, but that shouldn’t come before the Nexus 5 entry, we guess.
