As would be expected from an entry-level model, don’t expect much from the optics. The Xperia E1 has a lowly 3MP camera and no front facing camera. The handset will come with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage (2GB usable) as well as microSD memory card support. Other features include a removable 1700mAh battery, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS. You don’t get NFC in this model.
The Xperia E1 dual comes with Sony’s latest dual SIM technology this means that both SIM cards can be set independently with their own custom ring tones and you can switch between SIMs with one touch before making calls or sending texts. Also, you can keep both SIMs active, so that you’ll never miss a call, even while talking on one of them.
The Xperia E1 has dimensions of 118 x 62.4 x 12 mm and weighs 120 grams. The Xperia E1 will launch with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and come in three colours (black, white and purple). It will launch globally during Q1 2014.
